BIO-WISE was a major UK Government Programme funded by the DTI, which aimed to:

• improve the competitiveness of UK industry through the use of biotechnology
  
• support the development of the UK biotechnology supplier industry.

BIO-WISE provided independent advice, publications, events, and information to biotechnology suppliers.
